Happy mother

The past year and a half my daughter didn't want to wear my knitting anymore. The last knitting project, a beaded dress, she only wanted to wear at  "zaandag" (zonday), smart thinking of a six years old!

But . . . a few weeks ago she asked: "Mummy, will you knit something for me?" She doesn't have to ask twice!

This very soft yarn turned out to be perfect to convince her for sure! Zonday doesn't exist anymore; she does know every day of the week again. Now the trouble is to get the cardigan off of her and in the washing machine.

So a second cardigan had to be made:

She loves it!

The thirth project is in progress already: a soft summer ice blue sweater, in a sieve cloth stitch.

And many growing/knitting years to come . . .

I love those jackets!!! they are so girlie! i can see why your daughter would love them.

And YAY for her wanting you to knit for her again :) its always a wonderful feeling when your children want you to knit for them

Mijn dochter heeft hetzelfde: eerst hoefde ik nix meer te maken, of ik maakte iets en ze trok het niet aan..
De vesten zijn prachtig geworden, knuffelzacht.
De blauwe staat haar vast ook erg goed.
